These last two days I had Oireachtas Camp since I didn't have school (it was MEA). It was fun, we danced a whole ton, did crafts, ate good food, and had a mock Oireachtas! It was tiring now, I can barely move! :(
Next weekend we have an Oireachtas Sleepover! I'm excited for that too.....

ReplyDeleteMy school has a weekend Oireachtas camp as well last year. We actually stayed over at a camp (in the middle of November- cold!) and had a costume party competition for the ceili teams. We each had a ceili team color and my team was red. We dressed up as red Lego’s and wore goofy things along with trashing the boy’s cabin (which I would not be involved in EVER) and practiced our feet off. The sad part is for me, I ended up almost sick the first day making them send me home and just come back the next day for practice. I wouldn't have stayed over anyway but I still missed the party. Oh well.
That sucks. At least you were there for the practice and that you weren't too sick....

ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a person to want to be around people my same age so it didn't matter that much to me.
Your school dresses are very expensive. I don't remember exactly how much my school's are, but it is cheaper! and we don't have to where them once we earn our solo dress.
